Pineapple Casserole

In honor of Fathers Day, I am cooking my husband some of his favorite foods. One of his all time favorites is Pineapple Casserole. My mother-in-law has always cooked it for him upon request and she was so nice to give it to me to help keep his stomach happy 😉 This is a definite winner anytime you need to take a casserole to any event or having people over. Trust me it will win people over. I never had heard of it until I met my husband but apparently a lot of people love it! So if you are thinking about something good to cook for Father’s Day this may be one of the things you cook! Plus, it is very easy to put together! Pineapple Casserole by Momma Lawson    

Chunky Pineapple- 1 can (15 oz)

Flour- 3 Tbsp

Sugar- 1/2 cup

Cheddar Cheese- 1 cup

Ritz Crackers-1 1/2 cups, Crushed

Butter- 1 stick (I used 1/2 a stick)



Pour pineapple in cooking dish ( I usually use a small pyrex dish or pie dish so it will stay decently thick, if you double you will need something larger).


Mix flour, sugar, and cheese, and sprinkle over pineapple.


Add the crushed crackers on top of mixture and then pour melted butter over crackers.

BAKE 30 minutes on 350 in oven! Enjoy!

That’s Marla Tip: If taking it to a pot luck or someone’s home, I place a few thin sliced of pineapple on top, so people are aware of what type of casserole it is.
